January 16th 2023: Station Casino’s has announced a planned 600 room hotel and casino in Henderson on the southern edge of Las Vegas. The planned resort will go before the Henderson City Council during their February 16th meeting.
The proposed site at Via Inspirada and Bicentennial Parkway is land Station Casino’s has been sitting on for quite a while as it had purchased the land back in 2007 for $71 million. The project if approved as is will be built in three phases with more than 80,000 square feet of casino space as well as retail and restaurants. The resort will also have other things you might expect for a locals Station Casino such as a movie theater, bowling alley as well as meeting space.
Station Casino’s has extensive real estate holdings around the Las Vegas Valley and has closed some resorts like Texas Station and a couple of Fiesta properties; But the company has also bought land and plans to put new resorts all around the Las Vegas Valley.
If the new Henderson resort is approved Station Casino’s is planning to open it by the end of next year.
