The Pneumafractalist is about the life of autistic writer, actor and visual artist Harmon dot aut, who grew up in poverty in rural Kansas. Harmon was a spirited, creative and naïve child, and like many autistic children, an easy target for the serial abuse of bullies and predatory adults. Now 56 years old, Harmon was first diagnosed with autism only ten years ago. In The Pneumafractalist Harmon returns to Kansas to direct an autobiographical film, informed by a new understanding of self.
