Texas Station Demolition Has Begun

September 13th 2022: Station Casino’s has began demolition of Texas Station its North Las Vegas property as well as Fiesta Henderson in of course Henderson. Both properties have been closed since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

Another property will soon have the same fate as Fiesta Rancho is also due to be knocked down in the near future. Station Casino’s had announced in July that all three casino properties would be demolished with the land being redeveloped.

All three properties opened in the 1990’s with Fiesta Rancho opening in 1994 the nearby Texas Station opening in 1995. Fiesta Henderson didn’t originally open as a Station Casino property it opened in 1998 and was purchased by Station Casinos in 2001.

Station Casino’s which caters to locals has six other hotel casino properties around the Las Vegas Valley as well as non hotel Wildfire locations. The company is currently building the Durango Casino & Resort near the 215 Beltway southwest of the Las Vegas Strip. Station Casino’s is also exploring a Downtown Las Vegas property.
